12. Developing soft skills for Vietnamese students following the trend of integration and globalization in higher education

ABSTRACT: The article refers the theoretical and practical aspects of the soft skills development problems for students based on referring the developed program models which integrate skills - qualities professional and soft skills in educational program of university in the world, from now on, synthesize and propose ten soft skills that need to be developed for students in university training of our country today. The survey results of skills development teaching program for students in some universities in Ho Chi Minh City show that the management of soft skills training for students has certain limitations in implementation, conduct and evaluation training outputs, which affects the quality of the training program, the comprehensive development of students as well as the quality of them. Thereby, the article proposes recommendations may be referred the appropriate application with the context of changing in education and training of university in our country today according to the trend of integration and globalization of educational university.
