01. Educational culture of foreign-invested private schools from spatial organizational standpoints

ABSTRACT: The international school is an important part of the education system in Vietnam. Analyzing the characteristics of this type of school will aid local schools in Vietnam reflecting and shaping their identity as well as promoting a more rapid and convenient international integration process. The article learns about educational cultural characteristics viewed from spatial organizations through dichotomous pairs of opposites: intimate-distant, centripetal-centrifugal, closed-open and static-dynamic through participatory observational perspectives, investigation, and survey. The author concludes the article by recommending solutions for use in Vietnam’s local schools.
