05. Identification of intellectual properties in universities - Management operation to avoid the risk of infringement on intellectual property rights

A university is an organization with human resources of expertise in society. Such human resources have increasingly created a variety of intellectual assets. For effective exploitation, identification of intellectual assets is a prioritized management task that requires close attention from universities. This article suggests a method to identify intellectual assets of a university, which based on the origin of intellectual assets and the ownership. On the basis of analyzing the importance of identifying intellectual assets, which contributes to the exploitation of intellectual assetand helps reduceinfringement among the relevant parties.
