10. Using situational teaching method to develop pupils’ behavior adjustment capacity in civics education in secondary school

ABSTRACT

In today’s society, morality and law are regarded as measures of human value. The ethical value, standards, and provisions of the law are not only the most common criteria to evaluate a person but also a mirror that reflects the human's behaviors and consciousness to help people perfect themselves. To do that, teachers in general and teachers of Civics education, in particular, need to pay attention to developing the ability to adjust behaviors for students right from the time at school. The article focuses on proposing one of the measures to develop students’ capacity of behavior adjustment: situational teaching method in Civics education in secondary schools.
