17. Current situation of training and developing professional for administrative staff of An Giang University according to human resource management approach
ABSTRACT
The study aims to assess the current situation of training and developing professional for administrative staff of An Giang University according to the human resource management approach. Data obtained from 20 management officials and 66 administrative officials working at An Giang University shows that the training and retraining for administrative staff are not up to the standard of job position and have not followed the work performance results. In addition, An Giang University has not developed a professional development plan for administrative staff in accordance with the university's capacity, individual needs and development needs. Some contents of renovating the training and developing professional for administrative staff have been proposed in order to support An Giang University to implement this activity well
