07. Some solutions for higher education administration in the trend of autonomy

In the context of globalization and international integration of Vietnam higher education, the autonomy and taking responsibility to our society of higher education become more urgent than ever. The administrative mode or the method of managing activities in the educational environment is decisive for the success or failure in the renovation of Vietnam higher education in the trend of university autonomy. Therefore, in this article, the author clarifies current situation and limitations in the mode of subsidy management and thereby proposes a new administrative method to approach the trend of university autonomy. Solutions related to renovation in administrative methods memtioned here are related to the functions of planning, leading, organizing, inspecting and monitoring activities at the general level of an organization so that universities can operate autonomously.
