21. Developing multimedia skills in teaching and learning history at secondary schools in Dong Thap province
Thanh Phuong ABSTRACT:
Applying multimedia into teaching school subjects has attracted particular attention, especially in the teaching of social science subjects, including History at high schools. The popularity of smart devices with embedded applications, together with new approaches to teaching methods and techniques, has created important preconditions for improving teaching effectiveness. The promulgation of Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW dated 04 November 2013 of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam on comprehensive reform of basic education and training; along with the Fourth Industrial Revolution requires teachers to be more active in applying multimedia applications into thier teaching. With the aforementioned premise, this paper discusses recent solutions for developing multimedia application skills in teaching and learning history in Dong Thap secondary schools and orientations for coming years.
