08. Self-learning, self-study are significant factors to determine the quality of graduate student in under creadit training system (University Ba Ria - Vung Tau's conference hall)

Comprehensive research in Vietnam and around the world has proved that the education outcomes will remain poor, ineffective and unable to meet the market demand if one-way teaching approaches are still applied to transfer from teachers to students, where theories outweigh practice in the curriculum and critical thinking and self-studies are not incorporated.
Self-studies are the only keys to combine both theories and practice, connecting the education institutions to the society and at the same time helping Vietnam’s education reach regional and international quality standards. This article will present the importance of self- studies and then recommend the solutions for education administrators, teachers and students.
