14. Process of creating development strategies for a university - practical experience at Khanh Hoa University

Along with the deeper and deeper integration of our country with the region and the world, the higher education activities in general and the higher education institutions in particular in Vietnam are facing many opportunities and with many difficulties, challenges as well. Therefore, to ensure competitiveness and sustainable development, higher education institutions need a strategy with a specific vision and goals. Creating strategies for developing universities should be fully recognized in terms of content and implementation process. This paper systemize theories of creating strategy, proposes strategies for the higher education institutions, presents practical experience in defining the strategic process of Khanh Hoa University
