05. Current situation of quality, competence of principals for high school in Ho Chi Minh City

Principal standard according to Circular No. 14/2018/TTBGDDT is a system of basic requirements for principals about: 1) Professional quality; 2) School governance competence; 3) Competence to build an educational environment; 4) Competence to develop the relationship between the school, family, society; 5) Competence to use foreign languages and information technology. The objective of this study is to study the met requirement of quality and competence of the high school principals in Ho Chi Minh City compared to the new principal standard, finding solutions to improve the quality and competence of the principals.
