09. Teaching capacity of high school teachers in Lao People's Democratic Republic

Teaching capacity is a component in the professional capacity of high school teachers. The teaching capacity of high school teachers includes many component competencies such as the capacity to design and organize competency-oriented teaching; integrated, differentiated teaching, program development .... The results the study of teaching capacity of high school teachers in Lao People's Democratic Republic show that teachers are limited in some competencies: Integrated teaching; competency-oriented teaching; differentiated teaching; developing subject programs; assessing the results of competency-oriented teaching ... The managers of high schools and the Department of Education and Sports of the Lao People's Democratic Republic need to consider the above issues for the fostering the capacity of teachers effectively.
