14. Management efficiency in psychological counseling at primary schools in Ho Chi Minh City

ABSTRACT

On the basis of theoretical and practical research on psychological counseling at primary schools in Ho Chi Minh City, the article systematically writes a number of documents related to psychological counseling and collects information from the practice of managing this activity at educational institutions. In the study, semi-structured interviews were carried out with a number of education administrators (including specialists from the Department of Education and Training, deputy heads of the education and training offices in some districts, and principals of some primary schools). Research results have shown the disadvantages, limitations and inadequacies in organizing the implementation of psychological counseling and proposes specific measures to manage this activity at educational institutions.
