06. Integrating natural disaster prevention education in teaching subjects in secondary schools
ABSTRACT
Vietnam is a country located on the Indochinese peninsula, with a coastline of 1650 km, with mountainous terrain accounting for three-quarters of the area and has a humid tropical monsoon climate. Every year, our country always faces many different types of natural disasters such as hurricanes, floods, drought, landslides, thunderstorms, and earthquakes… In order to minimize the consequences of natural disasters, it is essential for educators to educate the young generation about disastrous prevention. One of the measures to effectively carry out that work is the integration of natural disaster prevention teaching into subjects. Within the scope of this article, we will refer to those measures in teaching some subjects in secondary schools.
