09. Current situation of using the method of assessing student’s competencies in experiential teaching of the natural science subject in secondary schools in Ho Chi Minh City

ABSTRACT

Student’s competency assessment is one of the important issues in the renovation orientation shown in the general education program (in Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BGDDT dated December 26, 2018 of the Minister of Education and Training). Experiential teaching is one of the methods of teaching in the orientation of developing student’s competencies. This paper focuses on analyzing a number of science-based issues such as concepts, characteristics, and current sitiation of using methods of assessing student’s competencies in experiential teaching in some secondary schools in Ho Chi Minh City.
