18. Renewing teaching methods in universities in the direction of developing learners’s competency

Educational renovation is both a need and an urgent task in the current context, as Vietnam increasingly integrates into the world at a deeper level. One of the basic orientations of educational renovation is to shift from academic education to an education that focuses on forming action capacity, promoting learners' initiative and creativity. To do this, it is necessary to join hands of the whole society, in which the faculty forces play a key role. This article contributes to answering the question: In order to develop the capacity of learners at university level, what do teachers need to do in renovating teaching methods
