09. Developing skills for university students in the context of the covid-19 pandemic

ABSTRACT: Developing appropriate skills for students at the university level is an urgent issue in the current global socio-economic context with many changes and formulas. The Covid 19 pandemic has significantly impacted university student life, forcing students to prefer online and offline learning environments. In the online learning environment, besides common skills such as teamwork skills, independent work skills, communication skills, and leadership skills, students form new skills such as digital skills, online communication skills, skills to adapt to online price checking forms, etc. The article mentions the skill groups of university students according to two main groups including the group of life skills in the university environment (student life skills) and a group of skills to meet future working life (work-related skills). The data in the article is based on research conducted at Hong Bang International University during the 2020-2021 school year through a survey of architectural opinions of 19 students and 280 students majoring in English Language.
