ABSTRACT : In recent time, Primary schools in Thu Duc and Ho Chi Minh city, the teaching of natural and social subjects aiming to develop students' scientific capacity, especially for Primary students, has not been seriously concerned by teaching staff. Therefore, the organizing of teaching schedules to develop students' scientific capacity has been little effective. The article shows the true situation of the development of scientific capacity through teaching natural and social subjects to 1st grade students at some primary schools in Thu Duc.
